Finally a pail opening tool with the additional torque required to open UN-rated pails by hand, just slide the side guide under the lid lip and pry for easy removal of the lid. The end hook is used to open steel pails: hook the lid lug and pry open. The opposite end is used to close and seal the lid by bending the lug back around the steel pail lip.
