This Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve supplies water to the ice maker in your refrigerator. If the water inlet valve is defective, the ice maker may not make ice. Kit includes the valve, 1/4-in tubing and (1) plastic union. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
