This Electric Range Broil Element heats your oven properly. If the Broil Element has shorted out, it may need to be replaced. To access the Broil Element, you'll need to remove the oven racks. The Element is attached to the top of the oven with a bracket and screws. When removing the old element, make sure the wires attached to the ends don't fall back into the oven wall. It may help to wrap a twist tie or string around the wires as you pull off the part. If your wires do fall back into the oven wall, you'll have to remove the oven's rear panels to retrieve them.
