To remove the old seal, remove the screws holding in the freezer door and lay it on a flat surface. Use a flat blade screwdriver to pry out the old seal from the door. If you install the gasket and it isn't lying flat with your refrigerator door closed, you can safely mold it with a heat gun--but be careful not to melt it. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
