It has the same powerful 1/3 HP motor, with a safety control switch, that's used in Paragon's other snow cone machines. It has a crushing capacity of 500 lbs of ice per hour. We use an exclusive one-piece, heavyduty cabinet to provide long-lasting strength. The standard bus-tub (made by Rubbermaid) is held off the ground by the cabinet for easy insertion/removal and cleanliness.
The Port-A-Blast was designed for the high-volume event concessionaire. It uses a bus-tub for crushed ice dispensing. Utilization of a two-tub system allows two people to efficiently operate a single machine; one crushes while the other serves, and turn a huge volume in short periods. We should have called this model the "Easy Profit" machine.
