Pentek PENTEK-EPM-20 Carbon Block Water Filters

With a 10 Micron rating and 20" L x 2-7/8" W (508mm x 73mm) dimension, Pentek EPM-20 Carbon Block Water Filters are a modified version of "EP Series" cartridge. It comes in an economical price and can be suitable for taste, odor and chlorine taste and odor reduction, along with sediment filtration. This filter is the same as Everpure EV910971 and Everpure DEV910971. The cartridges of these series of water filters are manufactured through a patented process that produces a cartridge with a nominal 10-micron filtration rating, high porosity and chlorine taste and odor reduction. The high porosity design of the filter helps in preventing the cartridge from plugging before its adsorption capability is exhausted, thereby maximizing the utilization of the carbon and maintaining low pressure drop. Since these cartridges are protected by Endurawrap - a uniquely formulated polyolefin bilaminate pre-filter, they are designed to increase the useful life of the cartridge significantly by trapping sediment that typically plugs carbon block cartridges. Moreover, these cartridges are manufactured entirely from FDA compliant materials.
