The number 20 VIH Whole House Water Filter System is ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial water filter applications. The Valve-in-Head (VIH) patented technology allows for easy water filter cartridge replacement. The pressure release button on the cap allows for release of the whole house water filter pressure in order to more easily unscrew the sump from the cap. Whole house water filter housings extend the life of washing machines, water heaters, and other household appliances by reducing sediment before it reaches the appliances.
The standard whole house housings have thick walls for increased strength. The Valve-in-Head involves a simple half-turn of the shut-off valve in the cap to shut off the water supply when changing a water filter. No need to purchase additional shut-off valves. Leaking and clogging is prevented by the dynamically sealing, self-cleaning o-ring. Connecting two number 20 Standard Housings - Two number 20 standard housings can be connected with a pipe nipple or pipe union.
