Dual-Sensing Probe Thermometer & Timer
Easily and accurately monitor the cooking process of a variety of foods with this CDN DSP1-W 6 3/4" white digital dual-sensing thermometer / timer. This unit features a 6 3/4" type 304 stainless steel needle probe that allows you to accurately measure both food temperature and ambient oven temperature at the same time. It measures temperatures between 32 and 572 degrees Fahrenheit. To ensure optimal performance in and around the oven, the 39" high-heat sensor cable can withstand temperatures up to 716 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 hours. The needle point probe is ideal for use in direct insertion applications, such as when monitoring roasts and other meats in the oven or on the grill.
In addition to measuring food and oven temperature, the thermometer includes a timer that reads in hours/minutes/seconds format with a maximum time of 10 hours. The timer counts up or down and will sound an alarm when complete. Additionally, the timer will initially count down, then begin counting up after zero, providing a convenient overtime alert. During cooking, the unit provides instant readouts of both ambient oven temperature and food temperature on 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" digital display with large, easy to read digits. The display and intuitive controls are housed in a durable, food-safe, and easy-to-clean white ABS plastic case. The case can be magnet-mounted or stand upright on the desired resting surface.
For the convenience of the operator, this unit has 3 different alerts for food, oven, and timer to ensure that sounds are quick and easy to distinguish in a busy kitchen or on the line. Programmable settings allow staff to streamline preparation when cooking different types of meats. The unit comes with (1) AAA battery, making it ready to use upon arrival.
